If you want Memento to pause after each subtitle line, it can happen that it pauses too late - when the subtitle has already disappeared. This is a significant issue.

To fix:

• Disable subtitle pausing in Memento itself: <emacscode>Settings > Options > Behavior > Automatically pause at the end of subtitles > Deselect
• Copy the two mpv-sub-scripts to ~/.config/memento/scripts

Now when you start Memento, after loading a file, press "n" to toggle subtitle pausing on - you will see the message "Subtitle pausing enabled (end)" and the videos will now pause before the subtitle disappears.
